A Fashionable Fairytale

It's always a relief when the issues fashion shoot is done and dusted. It's such a fun day but also a big day and takes the effort of our whole team to get it finished. We're lucky to work with some truly talented people such as our friend and photographer, Claude Raschella, our hair and makeup guru Christopher Geracitano and of course the model. By the time the last shot is all done we're relieved, exhausted but excited. Looking back we've had the opportunity to feature some simply beautiful gowns by some simply amazing designers within the pages of Style Guide. I'm always asked which ones are my favourite but it's so hard to choose. Here are a handful of my favourite gowns from the last six issues. Don't ask me to make a final pick. It's impossible!

Beaded French lace gown in cream $POA from Collette Dinnigan featured in issue #14, shot on location at Wairoa

Princess Rosa gown with screen printed flowers, sash and petticoat $6,500 from Mira Mandic featured in issue #13, shot on location at the Hotel Richmond

Evelina gown with French lace, transparent back with bows and tulle $5,000 from the Pallas Couture Collection at Pallas Couture featured in issue #12

Caliope lace embroidered strapless gown with gems, tulle and bodice bow $13,675 by Elie Saab at Samantha Wynne featured in issue #11, shot on location at The Queen's Theatre

Isla silk satin gown wiht Swarovski crystal detailing $5,990 and European encrusted net veil $445 from Johanna Johnson featured in issue #10, shot on location at Glen Ewin Estate

Esther tulle and silk shantung gown $9,500 from Alex Perry featured in issue #8, shot on location at a private residence

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our Winter Issue #15 which goes on sale this Wednesday 9th June. To say it's better than the last is an understatement! We look forward to hearing your feedback!
